We become girls’ biggest, most outspoken champions as we equip them with the skills, creativity, and confidence they need to compete and succeed in a modern economy. We provide holistic support with funding for tuition, supplies, and room and board — along with our own, specially tailored programs that include self-confidence building to help girls deal with past trauma.
We designed these special C2C programs to meet the needs of the amazing girls we serve, with cutting-edge programs in Digital Technology Education and Tutoring. These are supported by critical Life Skills building embedded in the very fabric of our programs, helping girls build a framework to apply the knowledge they acquire in school to real world problems and situations.
About The C2C Tech Lab
This advanced technology program grounds students in the basics of coding and entrepreneurship, unlocking girls’ ambitions, leadership skills, and problem-solving abilities. Initially modeled off activist filmmaker’s Nawneet Ranjan’s pet project in some of the world’s largest slums, our Tech Lab has evolved into a rigorous IT curriculum that invites young women to unite and break the cycle of poverty.
These important technological skills lead directly to future jobs — helping girls, families, and entire communities. In fact, 82% of girls gain an increased interest in education, and 83% express a strong desire to graduate high school. Nearly all report an interest in pursuing STEM related fields. We also see teachers reporting that half of the girls are more confident and mature following completion of the TechLab.

About the Tutoring Program
The Tutoring Program was implemented in 2013 to help girls stay in school past the 10th grade: a crucial threshold to their academic success. The girls we serve are among the world’s most marginalized, often coming from tragic backgrounds of abuse, prostitution, rape, and poverty. Many suffer from deep depression and trauma following these unspeakable hardships, hindering their ability to secure the education they need. Far too many remain illiterate, or studying at levels well below standard for their ages.
We deploy tutors fluent in English, Science, and Math to help girls realize their outstanding academic and intellectual potential, and catch up to peers despite the many obstacles they face — and it works. 98% of the girls we reach through our tutoring programs remain enrolled in secondary school or college.
$100 is enough to provide one girl with small group tutoring for an entire year.
